We offer small art classes to children aged 6 years to Adult, a safe, calm, neurodiverse inclusive environment to be creative and explore art. Our guided art classes materials are created by owner Hannah Munster, a professional children’s book illustrator and graphic artist spanning a 25-year successful professional career. The classes are taught by our art teachers, Miss Emily and Mr Noah, whom are both experts in their respected mediums. The classes hold up to 8 students, and large classes have a teaching assistant. We believe the process of making and learning art is more important than the result achieved. In our art studio we promote an inclusive and supportive learning environment with the aim for our students to feel comfortable to freely socialise with the teachers and their peers. Learning new skills and appreciating the creating journey in an inclusive accepting environment, is more important than becoming the next Picasso.

Our classes have been discounted this term from $330 to $300 including GST. run in line with the state school terms, for 10 weeks. Taking place once a week for a 1-hour ($30 including GST per class, $300 including GST for the term). The classes are expected to be paid in full at end of week 6, invoiced via email. For additional or clarifying information please read our terms and conditions. This fee includes all materials and aprons to protect clothing. Our facilities are air conditioned for warm and cold weather. We have toileting facilities, wash up area, waiting area for parents inside and outside, ample free parking spaces. Make-up classes are available during the term, unfortunately we do not process refunds for missed dates.

Each term lesson plans are created prior to commencement in the school holidays by Hannah and staff, these are announced weekly on social media so children can be told prior to class what the activity will be, for those that prefer to know the intent to prepare before arrival.

We give art awards to all children at the end of each term to celebrate their achievements in art and mindfulness and run regular art competitions for prize packs throughout the year, to encourage bravery, resilience in competing and pride in their artistic creations. This is purely optional and not mandatory.

Come and have a trial class before committing to our term offering. We believe a trial is important to do before committing for the term, as teens and children can get a feel of the space, class dynamic and teachers to ensure it is a good fit. We have many art supplies and even some of Hannah’s illustrated children’s books available to buy in the studio, so come in and have a look. Hannah will even sign your purchased copy!
